Name: Rev. Kurt M. Peterson Dates: Birth date: May 25, 1950 Death date: March 31, 2009 Obituary: Age 58, of Saline, MI., died Tuesday, March 31, 2009. He was born May 25, 1950 in Lansing, Michigan. He died from pancreatic cancer. Pastor Peterson was ordained a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America on June 11, 1989. During his pastorate he served churches in Alpena, Midland, Trufant, Bridgewater Township, Monroe and Blissfield, the latter three churches as their interim pastor. Pastor Peterson was preceded in death by his parents, Ellsworth and Ruth Peterson.
