Services
Not all funeral homes are the same.
Sure we all have big shiny cars made for transporting caskets to cemeteries, and usually wear dark colored suits of some sort.
Like all funeral homes we have the means to accomplish a burial or cremation, but unlike any other family owned funeral home, we also can handle the most important part of any end of life issue, and that is preserving the story of one’s life.
We feel the most important aspect of a funeral or memorial service is to assist families in recalling and sharing the stories of their loved ones lives.
It’s not about the casket or vault or the amount of flowers or numbers of limousines someone has, it is to acknowledge that a life has been lived and a change has taken place.
After all the paperwork and minutiae of planning an end of life event has settled, the only thing left is our memories. Are your memories and others being preserved?
We are the only funeral home that is able to provide your family a complete solution to sharing the loss of a loved one with those near and far.
We all only get one life to live…..and we only get one funeral….. Will your end of life service be a function of disposition or a time to remember a life lived ?
Life Celebration Services
At the Nie Family Funeral Home, we believe every life is as individual as the person who lived it, and each service should reflect that individuality, whether with a funeral, memorial service, or just a time when the family gathers to share stories. The Life Celebration Service does not celebrate the death or loss, but rather Celebrates the Life Lived.
Whether you have a Life Celebration service at church at the funeral home, a park, in the day room at the assisted living facility or in the family room of your home, we are focused on telling and sharing your loved one’s story.
From the arrangement conference to the final song played you will know our focus is not on the casket or vault used during the service, but rather on the Life Celebration of a loved one.
The Dash
The Dash…….A poem that is read at funerals and memorial services that reminds us to recall the life that was lived in the “dash” between the birth and death dates on someone’s tombstone.
At Nie’s, we can bring that “dash” to life and preserve it for generations, so the stories are not lost or forgotten.
Our focus is in providing services that embrace the individual life lived and the uniqueness which is all of us.
